The UTMB Health Department of Family Medicine is pleased and proud to announce that all seven of our third-year residents in our Family Medicine Residency Program have successfully taken and passed the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) board examination. All seven will complete the program later this month, and upon completion will be board-certified family physicians.
The third-year residents who passed are Saquib Ansari, MD; Rechelle Asirot, MD; Soujanya Challa, MD; Myers Hurt, III, MD; Maimoona Nizami, MD; Sai Palepu, MD; and Jose Enriquez-Perez, MD.
This is the second consecutive year that the entire graduating class of the Family Medicine Residency Program has passed the ABFM board examination.
