Dr. Yi joined the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health in 2026. He is a resident physician in training at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island East. Dr. Yi earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Public Health from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama.
Dr. Yi is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Yi's academic and clinical interests are in musculoskeletal health and medicine, sports medicine, pain management and Lifestyle Medicine
