Dr. Wasden joined the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health in 2026. He is a resident physician in training at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island East. Dr. Wasden earned his Bachelor of Arts in linguistics and his Master of Science in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He earned is Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine in Provo, Utah.
Dr. Wasden is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Wasden's academic and clinical interests are in wilderness medicine, cognitive psychology and educational psychology.
