Dr. Thomas joined the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health in 2026. She is a resident physician in training at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island East. Dr. Thomas earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC.
Dr. Thomas is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Thomas's academic and clinical interests are in primary care, sports medicine, orthobiologics and regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound, health equity and preventative medicine.
