Dr. Nguyen joined the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health in 2026. She is a resident physician in training at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island East. Dr. Nguyen earned her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and genetics from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from UT Health Houston McGovern Medical School.
Dr. Nguyen is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Nguyen's academic and clinical interests are in geriatric medicine, palliative/hospice care, community health and preventative care.
