Dr. Heston joined the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health in 2026. He is a resident physician in training at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island East. Dr. Heston earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his Master of Engineering and Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M School of Engineering Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Heston is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Heston's academic and clinical interests are in preventative medicine, healthy aging and longevity.
