Tyler "Ty" Fields, MD, MS 

Resident Physician

Dr. Fields joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2024 after completing her first year of residency training at HCA Healthcare Medical City in Arlington, Texas. She is a resident physician in training at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island West. Dr. Fields earned her Bachelor Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Neuroscience and a Master of Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.  Dr. Fields also earned her Doctorate of Medicine Texas A&M School of Medicine. 

Dr. Fields is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Dr. Fields has academic, clinical and research interests in Behavioral Health, Integrative Medicine, Preventative Medicine, Psychiatry, LGBTG Health and underserved populations.
