A PERSONAL NOTE FROM DR. LEBLANC
Hello everyone!
I grew up in the Hill Country in Boerne, Texas. I always knew I wanted to go to medical school growing up but didn’t always know where that goal would put me. The journey was full of ups and downs, but I am forever grateful to be where I am today.
I was attracted to UTMB by how close it was to the family that I have in the greater Houston area. It’s a great honor to give back to and provide medical care to the local communities that are so close to my heart. Our coresidents, faculty, and support staff are truly a tight knit family. Life on the island might seem very relaxed, but there is endless pathology to treat and people to heal.
I hope to pursue a sports medicine fellowship after residency and provide medical care to a local sports team.
Outside of work, I like to golf, read, and relax with my wife and two pets.
