A PERSONAL NOTE FROM DR. BOOTH
Hi I’m Kimia! I grew up in Houston and attended Texas A&M in
College Station for undergrad before heading to medical school at LUCOM in
Virginia. While I enjoyed my time in Virginia, I'm excited to be back in Texas
at UTMB where I can be closer to family.
I chose family medicine because it allows me to build long-term
relationships with my patients and address a wide variety of health concerns.
I’m particularly interested in lifestyle medicine and believe that preventive
care and healthy lifestyle choices are crucial in improving overall well-being.
I’m excited to be part of a field that emphasizes holistic care and encourages
patients to take an active role in their health.
Outside of medicine, I love to travel, paint, and spend time with
my dog.
