The UTMB Health John Sealy School of Medicine student organization, the Family Medicine Medicine Interest Group (FMIG), lead by the Department of Family Medicine Medical Student Education Program and Director, Jennifer Raley, MD have secured a 6th year-in-a-row AAFP Program of Excellence Award and will be acknowledged at the AAFP National Conference in Kansas City on August 2, 2024.
Dr. Jennifer Raley will also be acknowledged at the National Conference as the recipient of the 2024 AAFP Joyce Jeardeau Memorial Award. This award recognizes a faculty advisor who is exemplary in their support of their FMIG. She was nominated by UTMB's FMIG for thoughtful mentorship, passion for family medicine, and continued commitment to the FMIG at UTMB.
