The Department of Family Medicine is pleased to congratulate UTMB Health School of Medicine (SOM) alumnus Adrian Billings, MD, PhD on being named Family Physician of the Year by the Texas Academy of Family Physicians (TAFP).
Dr. Billings practices in the area near Big Bend National Park with clinics in Alpine, Marfa, and Presidio, Texas. Since 2011, he has been a community-based faculty member for the SOM's Family Medicine Clerkship and a regular host and preceptor for SOM students.
