The UTMB Health Department of Family Medicine is pleased to announce that Samuel Mathis, MD has been appointed to represent the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for 2017-2018 as a Resident Delegate to the American Medical Association's Resident and Fellow Section (AMA-RFS).
As part of his duties, Dr. Mathis will attend the AMA's Interim Meeting in November 2017, and its Annual Meeting in June 2018.
Dr. Mathis is currently the 2017-2018 UTMB Health Integrative and Behavioral Medicine Fellow.
