The UTMB Health Department of Family Medicine is pleased to share that as of 7 a.m. on Friday, September 1, the institution has declared an end to the emergency status related to Hurricane Harvey.
Academic offices and clinics have opened, and will operate their normal business hours. Per the appropriate Offices of the Dean, academic courses will resume today and over the coming week. Students are encouraged to contact their Dean's Office for details.
We wish to express our gratitude to our faculty, residents, fellows, and staff for their tireless work on our behalf, and to our communities for their support and care. We are devastated at the loss some of our employees, students, and communities have suffered, and we are committed to helping and supporting them.
