UTMB Health continues to be operating at emergency status as of Monday, August 28. Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, League City Campus Hospital in League City, and Angleton-Danbury Hospital in Angleton continue to be open, with emergency departments available to the community.
One of the Department of Family Medicine's clinics, Family Medicine Clinic – Island West, is open today, Monday, August 28.
The department's other clinics in Dickinson and the eastern end of Galveston Island remain closed. The academic offices also remain closed.
The Family Medicine Interest Group's (FMIG) annual Residency Fair, scheduled to take place on August 30th, has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
