Bret Howrey, PhDThe Association of Schools & Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) recently featured a study by Bret Howrey, PhD, of the UTMB Health Department of Family Medicine, and M. Kristen Peek, PhD, of the UTMB Health Department of Preventive Medicine & Community Health. Their research on mortality and consumption of chamomile tea was featured in ASPPH's online news on January 11, 2017.

The article recognizes the importance of their study, which was published in The Gerontologist in 2016. The Gerontologist is a publication of the Gerontological Society of America.
