UTMB Health Family Medicine residents collected funds and school supplies during the month of September for donation to Kidz Harbor. Third-year residents Dimple Desai, MD and Tracey Angadicheril, DO delivered the boxes of pencils, pens, notebooks, paper, and other supplies to the facility on October 2nd.
Kidz Harbor is a Brazoria County organization dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children to live in. Kidz Harbor offers emergency shelter for children placed in the custody of Texas Child Protective Services (CPS), as well as group home facilities.
