UTMB Health's Dr. Julie McKee, Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs will be speaking at the 2016 Celebrating Women - Mind | Body | Spirit 9th Annual Conference, hosted by the Galveston Chamber of Commerce on April 14, 2016. Dr. McKee will be talking about "Living from the Heart."
This day is packed full of motivational speakers, shopping and bonding. This year's featured speaker is Gretchen Ruben, A New or Times bestselling author and top-ranked podcaster. Also highlighted for the day is cosmetic company owner and "Cute in Carpool" makeup series creator Jentry Kelley. There are many other great speakers for a day packed of fun hosted by KHOU TV anchor, Mia Gradney. Also joining Dr. McKee for topics on stage are fellow UTMB colleagues Dr. Zehra Jaffery, Director of Women's Heart Health and Sukwan Jolley from the UTMB Center for Obesity and Metabolic Surgery.
