Rebecca Burke, MD

Dr. Burke joined The Department of Family Medicine in 2013. She is a resident physician in training at The Family Medicine Clinic - Island East. Dr. Burke earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Spelman College in Atlanta Georgia and her Doctorate of Medicine from the Meharry Medical College in Nashville Tennessee.

Dr. Burke’s academic and clinical interests include Integrative Medicine, Women's Health and she would like to become a professor.

Hiram Martinez, MD

Dr. Martinez joined The Department of Family Medicine in 2013. He is a resident physician in training at The Family Medicine Clinic - Island East. Dr. Martinez received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and his Doctorate of Medicine from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago.

Dr. Martinez's academic, clinical and research interests are in sports medicine and behavioral medicine.
