After a month of nominations, two months of voting, and well over 100,000 votes from people across the country, Galveston.com announces the winners of The 2014 Best of Galveston Awards. UTMB Health's Family Medicine Physician, Angela Shepherd, MD took the gold award for Best Physician.
In addition to Dr. Shepherd being at the top of the list, two other local physicians took the silver and bronze positions, Nancy Hughes, MD of Internal Medicine Associates of Galveston and Mary Claire Haver, MD. of the UTMB Health Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Congratulations to all of the winners and the nominees as every one of you is what makes Galveston such a great place to live, work and play.
