Victor Sierpina, MD was selected as July's Educator of the Month by the UTMB Health Academy of Master Teachers and the Advocacy Team. Dr. Sierpina was selected because he "tirelessly and doggedly pursues increasing awareness of lifestyle issues for physicians as well as our patients. He is innovative in his approaches, working hard to bring hands on learning to all settings."
Dr. Sierpina has been a member of the Academy of Master Teachers since its founding in 2007.
The UTMB Health Academy of Master Teachers is an honorary service organization to recognize Master Teachers and to provide an array of faculty development opportunities for all UTMB Faculty.
