The UTMB Health Department of Family Medicine is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2014 Weldon G. Kolb, MD Scholarship: Carah Howe (MS4), Roxanne Radi (MS4), Alyssa Shell (MS3), and Rebecca Tiemann (MS4). Kolb scholarship recipients are outstanding medical students who plan to go on to family medicine residencies or to practice family medicine.
The Wheldon G. Kolb, MD Scholarship was established by the Texas Academic of Family Physicians (TAFP) in honor of a past president of TAFP, Weldon G. Kolb, who practiced in La Marque, Texas, for more than 45 years.
