The UTMB Health Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) held a Match Day Panel on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. The panel discussion, open to all UTMB School of Medicine students, featured a panel of senior medical students discussing the residency program application and interview process, and what students need to know to successfully navigate this crucial stage in their medical training.
The five senior medical students on the panel were all senior medical students who matched to residency programs in the 2013 Match. Christine Horstmeyer will be entering the family medicine program at St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, Colorado. Bonnie Reed is joining the family medicine program at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise. Mariama Massaquoi is joining the family medicine program at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Jerecia Watson is entering the family medicine program at the Conroe Medical Center in Conroe, Texas, and Jonathan Coppin will join the Texas A&M – Scott and White Hospital family medicine program in Temple, Texas.
