UTMB Health Family Medicine resident Sai Palepu, MD has been selected as one of ten recipients of the
Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors Family Medicine Congressional Conference resident scholarship. This scholarship pays for the residents to attend the Family Medicine Congressional Conference in May 2013, and is meant to encourage the residents to speak out for family medicine in Congress. As part of this conference residents will advance their advocacy knowledge and skills, deepen their understanding of family medicine's legislative issues and discuss family medicine issues in person with Congressional staff. Dr. Palepu was selected from many resident candidates across the country to receive this important scholarship.
