The Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals (TORCH), in conjunction with iVantage Health Analytics, has recognized two hospitals connected to the UTMB Health Family Medicine Integrated Rural Training Track as part of its iVantage Hospital Strength Index rating system. This rating system is the first rating system in the United States that includes all rural providers.
Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, Texas has been recognized as "Health Strong" (a top quartile performer) and has been recognized for Excellence in Patient Satisfaction. St. Mark's Medical Center in LaGrange, Texas has also been recognized for Excellence in Efficiency.
