The Family Medicine Interest Group, at UTMB Health, led by Faculty Advisor Dr. Jennifer Raley and Shiloh Goecke MS3 have joined forces with the Obstetrics and Gynecology Student Society, led by Dr. Sangeeta Jain and Shelby Bagby MS3, and are hosting the first cooperative “Women’s Health Simulation Workshop”.
The event will have the following 8 procedure stations:
- SonoSite/Doptone
- Nexplanon Insertion
- IUD Insertion
- Cervical Dilation
- Speculum/Pelvic Exam
- Breast Exam/ contraception 101
- Vaginal Delivery
- Perineal Laceration Repair.
The event will be held on February 17th, 4-6pm, at the Primary Care Pavilion. Student signup is underway for this much anticipated event.
