Lewis E. Foxhall, MD Kicks off 2019 UTMB Health Family Medicine Grand Rounds Lectures

UTMB Health Family Medicine presents Lewis E. Foxhall, MD on Thursday January 3, 2019 for a Grand Rounds Lecture.  Dr. Foxhall will be presenting a lecture titled "Cancer Survivor-ship Care" from 3:00pm - 4:00pm at the Primary Care Pavilion.  This lecture is proudly sponsored by The Fellow of the John P. McGovern Centennial Chair in Family Medicine.  

Lewis E. Foxhall, M.D. is vice president for health policy and professor in the Department of Clinical Cancer Prevention at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Foxhall provides support and guidance on health policy issues related to the institutional mission.

He serves as a resource to aid development and implementation of effective health policy related to cancer center operations and population health. His clinical focus
is on community-based cancer prevention and early detection, access and quality of care for low-income populations.

Dr. Foxhall is responsible for coordination of MD Anderson’s charity care program, education and outreach initiatives for the cancer survivorship program and serves on the Cancer Prevention and Control Platform leadership team.
