Marissa Forray, MD

Assistant Professor, Faculty Physician

Dr. Forray joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2021 as a resident physician in training. Dr. Forray earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M in College Station and her Doctorate of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB) and completed her resident training at UTMB in 2024.  In 2025, Dr. Forray joined the faculty of the Department of Family Medicine as an Assistant Professor and works at the Jeannie Sealy Hospital, Family Medicine Inpatient Service.

Dr. Forray is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Dr. Forray's academic and clinical interests include LGBTQI+ Health, medical legislation and advocacy, clinical procedures, Women's Health, underserved populations and an integrative and holistic approach to medicine.
