A Personal Note from Dr. Islam

I grew up in Houston, Texas and attended the University of Houston Honors College for undergrad (Go Coogs!) where I studied Biology and minored in Medicine and Society.  I moved out to Fort Worth for medical school at TCOM. I enjoyed each of my rotations and could imagine myself in various specialties. It was during my family medicine rotation that I realized I could see a little of everything.

I enjoy spending time with family, hanging with my cat Kiki and traveling.
