Dr. Simpson joined The Department of Family Medicine in 2015.  She is a resident physician in training at The Family Medicine Clinic - Island East. Dr. Simpson earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Spanish from High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. Dr. Simpson earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia.

Dr. Simpson is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Neonatal Life Support (ANLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO).  

Dr. Simpson’s academic and clinical interests include Women’s Health, International Medicine and Integrative Medicine.
