A Personal Note from Dr. Palmer

You can have all of the money in the world, the best career, the biggest house, and a nice Maserati in the driveway.  But if you don’t have your health, what do you really have?

Your quality of life matters.  It is not good for a person to just exist in life, but to actually have a meaningful and enjoyable life, and health is a very important factor in a person’s quality of life.  Now, some health issues require immediate intervention and medication, such as infections or a fractured limb.  But too many people are suffering from a decreased quality of life due to lifestyle choices, and I take personal responsibility to help guide and encourage my patients to make better choices in order to bring that blood sugar down or to decrease that blood pressure. Just like a coach provides the athlete tools and equipment in order to become stronger, faster and great, it is my position to provide my patients the sound medical advice, appropriate therapies, and some lighthearted encouragement in order for the patient to be the healthiest that he or she can be.

Empowering the patient is my first medication of choice. Your quality of life matters.
