WE ARE PLEASED TO SHARE THAT THE FAMILY MEDICINE CLINIC HAS REOPENED AT THE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL CLINICS!
The Family Medicine Clinic, formerly located in the Primary Care Pavilion, is now open on the 4th Floor of the University Hospital Clinics building on the UTMB main campus. Click here for directions.
Our recovery efforts from Hurricane Ike are ongoing, and we are hopeful that we will return to our clinic space in the Primary Care Pavilion in the future. In the meantime, we have relocated our practices to three locations, two on Galveston Island and one in League City (see details to the right.)
Education
Normal classes have resumed, and educational research projects have continued. Our faculty continue to teach first and second-year medical students in the Practice of Medicine course, and our Family Medicine Clerkship continues to educate third-year medical students using teaching sites across the state.
Residency
The Family Medicine Residency program continues to train physicians and prepare them for successful careers as family physicians.
