Faculty Online Evaluation System

The Department of Family Medicine began using its own Online Evaluation System in 2003. For 2004, the system has been updated and expanded. Check it out!

Online CME Program Available

The UTMB Office of Continuing Education is now offering an online CME program. Here's an excerpt from the program's homepage:

CMECert.com is an easy, convenient and economical way for healthcare professionals to obtain continuing medical education credit. Our growing library of commercial-free online courses allows physicians to meet their CME requirements by working at their own pace from the convenience of their office or home. All CME activities are developed by faculty of the University of Texas Medical Branch. All courses offered by CMECert.com are free. There is a $15 processing fee if a CME certificate of completion is needed.

Free CME credits available!

AHRQ Web M&M is now online at http://webmm.ahrq.gov! This month's commentaries cover a broad range of issues, and introduce additional specialties. If you are new to AHRQ WebM&M, we encourage you to spend some time browsing previous issues. All commentaries and Spotlight cases (including slides and CME credit) are available on the site, by clicking "Archives" or "Past Issues." Let Dr. Wachter (webmm@medicine.ucsf.edu) know if you have any feedback about how to make the site even better.
