Jesse B Heath Lectureship April 2nd

The UTMB Health Department of Family Medicine is pleased to announce that James Giordano, PhD will be presenting a lecture, A Right and Good Healing: Philosophical and Ethical Foundations of Integrative Medicine, on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Dr. Giordano's lecture is sponsored by the Jesse B. Heath Lectureship in Family Medicine, and he will be hosted at UTMB Health by Howard Brody, MD, PhD of the Institute of Medical Humanities, and by Victor Sierpina, MD of the Department of Family Medicine.

Dr. Giordano is a Professor at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC, and holds appointments in the Department of Biochemistry, Division of Integrative Physiology, the Georgetown University Center for Clinical Bioethics, and the Human Science Center at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich Germany.

This lecture is open to the UTMB Health community. It will take place from 5:30-7pm in room 2.268 of the Primary Care Pavilion. For more information, please see the announcement for the lecture (PDF).
