Dr. Billingsley joined UTMB’s Department of Family Medicine in 2015. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine.

Dr. Billingsley earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She earned both a Master of Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine from UTMB Health. Dr. Billingsley completed her training at Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency Program in Bryan, Texas.

Dr. Billingsley is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and she is credentialed in both family medicine and obstetrics. She is a member of the American Society for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and has earned CTropMed® Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers' Health.

Dr. Billingsley's patient practice is at the Family Medicine Clinic - Island East. She also cares for patients on the family medicine service at Jennie Sealy Hospital, and works in the hospital's Labor & Delivery and the Newborn Nursery units. Her professional interests include caring for the whole family, obstetrics, women's health, tropical and travel medicine, endoscopy, and quality improvement in resource limited settings.
